A Woman with a Vision - Exhibition Tour

Mira Zimińska-Sygietyńska is an icon of the Polish stage and one of the most well-known Polish actresses of the twentieth century. In 1948, she played a key role in the establishment of Mazowsze Ensemble, which she led from 1955 until her death in 1997. To find out more about the life and work of this remarkable woman, join us for a special tour of the exhibition at the Centre for Polish Folklore.

Dances from the Sieradz region - Dance Workshop

This workshop focuses on dances popular in the Sieradz region in Central Poland: the owijok, oberek and polka. Mazowsze Ensemble's performers will teach their basic steps and figures, before introducing participants to the stage forms adopted by the Ensemble. The workshop is open to all adults, irrespective of dance experience.

How to Find Us

Karolin, located in Otrębusy, in the quiet heart of the Młochowski Forest, is very well-connected with Warsaw and its suburbs.
BY CAR
Situated at the junction of the 719 and 720 roads, Otrębusy is close to the S7 and S8 as well as to the A2 motorway. There are two large car parks onsite.
WARSAW COMMUTER RAILWAY (WKD)
The journey to Otrębusy Station by Warsaw Commuter Railway takes 36 minutes from Warsazawa Sródmieście Station.
BY BICYCLE
Avoid the traffic and visit us on your bike! Enjoy the picturesque local cycle trails and leave your bike on the racks in Karolin Park.
