Traditions of the Podhale Highlanders - Family Workshop

This year, we’ll be celebrating Children’s Day in Poland with an action-packed family workshop about the folk culture of Polish highlanders from the Podhale region. We’ll uncover the secrets of highlander dress, music and dances, and will make our own glass painting inspired by local tradition.

Join us on 25 May to experience a taste of the rich folk culture of the Podhale region. Our guests from Bukowina Tatrzańska in the Polish highlands will lead a workshop focused on regional crafts, followed by a social dance to traditional highlander music.

Easter Basket Weaving - Craft Worskhop

It’s hard to imagine a Polish Easter without the traditional wicker basket, which is taken to church for its contents to be blessed on Easter Saturday. During this year’s Easter market, you’ll have the chance to make your own, unique basket at a special basket-weaving workshop, under the eye of an expert craftsman.

Opole Easter Eggs - Craft Workshop

A Polish Easter would not be complete without intricately decorated eggs. Particularly well-known are “kroszonki” from the Opole region, which are made by scratching intricate patterns onto dyed eggs. The ideal Easter gift or decoration, don’t miss the chance to create your unique own egg at this special craft workshop.
