Winter Holidays in Karolin
This year's winter break in the Mazowsze region coincides with the final days of Carnival, tradionally a time of merrymaking, feasting, dressing up and generally having fun! Karolin Christmas Market
Christmas is coming to Karolin, so join us for a weekend filled with festive spirit! Do your Christmas shopping at our market, with plenty of regional specialities and folk-inspired arts and crafts to choose from, or join our Christmas craft workshops and surprise your loved ones with handmade gifts. On both days we’ll be showing Mazowsze’s signature Christmas production, "Betlejem Polskie".
Polish Independence Day – English-language tour of the Centre for Polish Folklore
In November 1918, Poland regained its independence after 123 years of partition. To commemorate, we’ll be hosting a special English-language tour of the permanent exhibition at the Centre for Polish Folklore. Discover Poland’s rich history and culture through music, song and dance at the historic home of Mazowsze National Folk Song and Dance Ensemble.
Social dance with a folk band from the Opoczno region
On Saturday 8th October we'll be hosting a social dance with music from the Opoczno region. We will be joined by Roman Wojciechowski's celebrated band, who'll be delighting us with traditional melodies and songs from Opoczno. Get ready to dance the polka, walczyk and oberek!
Summer travels with Mazowsze Ensemble and the Automotive and Technology Museum in Otrębusy
Summertime events in Karolin this year are themed around journeys. Join us on 20 August for workshops, talks and social dancing, as well as the chance to admire some beautiful vintage automobiles from the Automotive and Technology Museum in Otrębusy.

Summertime in Karolin
There’s lots happening in Karolin during the summer. On Wednesdays and Sundays we’ll be making the most of the summer holidays and travelling around Poland and beyond during our family workshops. A summer crafts school for adults and young people will run on Saturdays. We’re also planning talks and presentations, and a big social dance to end the season. Join us in Karolin this summer!
